We live in a world where we’re too eager to research into the latest fad diets and trying to keep up with how the celebs maintain their sleek figure to lose weight, but we’re unaware of the damaging effects it can have on our body. This is why it’s advisable to seek advice from qualified health and fitness professionals, and this person could be you once you have qualified from our Level 3 Personal Trainer course!
It’s not uncommon for women to feel put off by incorporating heavy weights into their regime because they’re afraid of getting “big and muscular”, but this isn’t true and you’ll be the first one to knock this one on the head and introduce effective weight-based techniques. But, you’ll also be aware that you won’t achieve much by sticking to light weights that you can lift with your little finger! Our Level 3 Personal Trainer course will teach you about finding the right balance between weights and which techniques are more effective for weight loss and leaner muscles.
Cardio, cardio, cardio! Don’t become best friends with cardio machines or feel the need to run long distances on a daily basis to strip down. Cardio machines are effective, but if you wanted to see visible results, then it’s important to mix things up a bit and if you are becoming friendly with these machines then incorporate intervals and HIT (high intense training). So go on, be experimental when it comes to using cardio machines with your clients; you’re guaranteed to pick up effective skills throughout our Level 3 Personal Trainer course and create some techniques of your own.
When you’re working-out on a regular basis, it can become a chore rather than a hobby. Sessions will become static and that’s when boredom and a lack of motivation kick in. So help your clients find a healthy medium to make their exercise regime both with you and independently more appealing and exciting. Encourage them to stick to a workout regime for at least 4 to 6 weeks to see how the results are looking.
Keeping clients motivated in achieving their goals and eager to visit the gym on a regular basis is more difficult than testing them to a heart racing, body sweating work-out. But with your expertise and personality, and with skills and qualifications achieved from our Level 3 Personal Trainer course, we’re sure your clients will have no trouble in achieving their goals; they just need to be doing it the right way.
